Professor

I am the Sustainability and Design group leader and research director of the Sustainability & Design Lab. I lead the Circular Energy thematic research group, deputy-lead the Futuring Nordics thematic research group, and I am a member of the Sustainable AI working group.

Academic interests

A academic interests are sustainable digitalisation, in particular related to AI and data science in general, sustainable circular economy, with a focus on repair and recycling, and design for sustainability. Theoretically, I work with critical theories of technology, such as feminist technoscience, instrumentalisation theory, and mediation theory; systems thinking, and new materialist approaches. In terms of design approaches, I lean towards humanist and entanglement HCI, transition design, and systems oriented design.
